The Ladera 500 Blood Drive
Did you know that one pint of
blood can save 3 or 4 lives?
Your plasma can help
severe burn victims and hemophiliacs
Your
platelets can help cancer and leukemia
patients
Your white blood cells help treat
infections that aren't responding to antibiotics
Your
red blood cells help patients who have anemia, are undergoing surgery,
or are in the neonatal unit
The Empathy Foundation has
already collected enough blood to save more than 500 lives! Our goal is to
collect 500 pints of blood to be donated to Mission Hospital in Mission
Viejo.
