group brings toys to ill tots

For some of the smallest patients at the Jersey Shore
Medical Center yesterday, Teddy Bear Time came just in time.Members of the
Southern Monmouth Chamber of Commerce joined forces with the Empathy
Foundation's project "Teddy Bear Time," to give toys and, of
course, teddy bears to children in the pediatric ward, intensive care and
neonatal intensive care units at the Neptune hospital yesterday.Members of

neonatal intensive care units at the Neptune hospital yesterday. "It was absolutely beautiful and touching," Riles said.
"The families were overwhelmed by the love pouring out from the
people of Monmouth and Ocean counties." Along with the toys and teddy bears, which were donated by various
community organizations, each child received a get-well card made by the
Building Bridges Program, an Empathy Foundation effort designed to bridge
the gap between children and senior citizens through such activities as
