-NEPTUNE, NJ - For some of the smallest patients at the Jersey Shore Medical Center yesterday, Teddy Bear Time came just in time.Members of the Southern Monmouth Chamber of Commerce joined forces with the Empathy Foundation's project "Teddy Bear Time," to give toys and, of course, teddy bears to children in the pediatric ward, intensive care and neonatal intensive care units at the Neptune hospital yesterday.Members of the Southern Monmouth Chamber of Commerce joined forces with the Empathy Foundation's project "Teddy Bear Time," to give toys and, of course, teddy bears to children in the pediatric ward, intensive care and neonatal intensive care units at the Neptune hospital yesterday.

"It was absolutely beautiful and touching," Riles said. "The families were overwhelmed by the love pouring out from the people of Monmouth and Ocean counties."

Along with the toys and teddy bears, which were donated by various community organizations, each child received a get-well card made by the Building Bridges Program, an Empathy Foundation effort designed to bridge the gap between children and senior citizens through such activities as the card-making venture.
